Family of 2 adults & 2 U-16, attending Cliffhanger Saturday & Sunday, and staying at BaseCamp Saturday and Sunday night. Staying in 2 tents. Travelling in 1 car. Wanting to eat a BBQ each on Saturday night. Your booking would be:

BaseCamp...

Relaxed, affordable and safe, BaseCamp offers great camping in a beautiful woodland location just 2 miles from the Cliffhanger festival, including:

BaseCamp & Cliffhanger Tickets

All tickets are per person per night, so you can select the combination of BaseCamp nights and Cliffhanger days to suit your needs. Staying on Friday and or Saturday? - 1 day & 1 night or 2 day & 2 night tickets are available. Add on Thursday and Sunday night camping to make it a long weekend. All under 16's camp for free - but don't forget they need a responsible adult and a BaseCamp ticket!

Vehicle Pass

ALL vehicles entering BaseCamp need a pre-booked vehicle pass. No exceptions! If you do not book a pass you will be asked to park your vehicle a short walk down the road at the Whirlow Playing Fields. Campervans are allowed, but you still need to buy camping tickets per person per night and there is no electricity or sanitation hook up.

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Bring your own food, drink and equipment and cook up a storm at BaseCamp! There will also be DIY BBQs available each night if you fancy it. If you want to make sure you have meat for the BBQ you can order a BBQ token which offers 1 x ready-to-cook DIY BBQ pack of 2 x sausage, 1 x burger, 2 x breadcake & salad. Don't forget - there are lots of ood stalls at Cliffhanger

Off Licence

The BaseCamp off licence will be open every night 5pm - 11pm offering a range of good value beers, wines & spirits to suit all tastes. We'll have pints of real ale and real cider on tap. A range of soft drinks & snacks will also be available. We'll take cash or you can pre-order BaseCamp off licence tokens to get £10 spend for the price of £8 - saving you £2. Sweet!

Entertainment

We'll have a campfire sorted with evening-time acoustic music and spoken word performers for your entertainment - but feel free to bring your voice and instruments if you feel the urge for a jam later on. There will be a woodland cinema showing adventure films and a no-fuss BYO iPod / mp3 player jukebox for you to play a few tunes on (until you get booed off!).

Facilities

BaseCamp offers the essential basics. Luxury camping ('glamping') this ain't. We'll have toilets, drinking water and cold wash facilities. No showers this year - too expensive, lots of water, long queues etc. etc. If you tell us showers are essential for next year we will think again. We'll also have secure bike & kit storage. Bring padlocks etc. to use this please.

Local Activities

There are stacks of outdoor activities to do around Sheffield - climbing, cycling, walking just for starters. There are regular public buses into the Peak District from BaseCamp, so get your OS map out and start planning - or get yourself down to Cliffhanger!
